Rotor Blade Tracking and Balancing explained.

Rotor Blade Tracking and Balancing explained. Video Clips.

Folks have asked me for helicopter rotor Blade tracking and balancing tips, so using my original NightFlyyer designed Helicopter Test/Training stand, I explain what blade tracking is, how I do it, and how I dynamically (spinning under load) balance the blades. It is straight forward and was developed from my 30 + years experience with RC helicopters. Also, if you would like to see the video that Adrian Zobrist made flying a 1 bladed T Rex helicopter in full 3D, click this link. www.youtube.com Thanks for watching and subscribing. I hope short video takes the mystery out of helicopters for those that are just starting out. Dave Herbert AMA 8221 Certified Contest Director Leader Member Scientific Division.
