The first years of helicopter history

History teaches us that the concept was the first man who tries to defy gravity and actually fly a helicopter. Date back 400 BC in ancient China accounts with a hand-spun from a plan wind-up toy, and when he turned quickly between the palms to generate enough lift and then released flew done.

However, the first, more realistic concept of a helicopter is the 15 century, when Leonardo Da Vinci was trying to produce a working helicopter (gyro). This was notin production since its design has been found so ahead of his time and the time had inadequate technology and understanding of the nature of the lift and the availability of a machine capable of producing a huge boost.

Several other attempts have been made in later centuries. All these had failed, but had made little progress in the development of the helicopter. The reason for the failure? Same as the time of Da Vinci. From the time of Da Vinci at the end of19 Century there was not enough that the machine is powerful enough to generate electricity and produce lift.

The breakthrough came when the combustion engine was invented, the full-size prototypes of a chance. But then came problems after problems. With a little 'understanding of the concept of torque and balance, not all the evidence first. The models tend to turn around. Others can not be controlled in the air. Many were not even from theLand.

The breakthrough came in 1907 when Paul Cornu, a French pioneer of a twin rotor helicopter lifted off the ground created for a few seconds. This event was followed by other successful test, but not until 1924 that another French under the name of Etienne Oehmichen town has a helicopter flight that lasted for 7 minutes and 40 seconds.

Others have come to follow these two Frenchmen. Boris and Yuryev Geogrij de Bothezat (Russian), Ellehammer (Netherlands), Louis Brennan (UK), Pescara(Argentina), Etienne Oehmichen (French), is D'Ascanio (Italian), and Juan de la Cierva (Spanish) among other pioneers who came with their own version of the helicopter. In 1936, the German Focke-Wulf Fw 61 was the introduction of the concept of vertical escape reality. This was considered the first practical helicopter, which is as high as 11 to 243 meters and as far as 143 miles celebrated pink.

To fly the long dream of human reality.
